Linda
Gelberg
Linda was born in Clarksburg, West Virginia, but lived,
went to school, married and started a family in the Washington, D.C.
area until 1979. When you ask Linda why she and her husband, Andy, moved
to Florida, she confesses that they moved to Southwest Florida for the
weather.
They opened a tax
and accounting business on Sanibel Island, where they both lived and
worked until they sold that business in 1995. At that point they moved
"off-island," and changed careers. Linda went to work for
a Fort Myers law firm. She joined Thompson Family Law in 2000, and became
its hard-working and skilled Administrator shortly thereafter.
Linda and Andy have
two daughters, both of whom are Florida teachers, as well as two granddaughters.
They are enthusiastic Atlanta Braves supporters, and for relaxation,
Linda creates knitted and crocheted afghans which are made-to-order
for her family. Linda and Andy also enjoy traveling to the Keys every
few months to recharge their batteries.
