Marcela Hernández

Marcela was born and raised in Santa Rosa de Cabal, Colombia, and graduated from the University Autonoma de Manizales with a degree in physical therapy. She worked there as a physical therapist for a number of years before moving to New York City.

In New York she worked part time caring for children while attending community college. Finding the northeastern climate very difficult, she relocated to Miami where she worked for two years in administration for a large wholesale florist.

Marcela and her husband, Jairo, relocated, moving to Lee County.

Marcela joined Thompson Family Law in 2006 as an office assistant. In addition to her excellent clerical abilities, she contributes her bilingual proficiency to a staff that features multi-lingual convenience for its clients.

Marcela and Jairo enjoy their new home in Southwest Florida, and entertaining family and friends.
