Steve is a Board
Certified Marital and Family Lawyer, a Certified Family Mediator, Collaborative Lawyer, and
an Arbitrator. He handles a wide variety of marital and family law cases,
with particular emphasis on divorce litigation and post-judgment modification.
Having practiced law since 1979, Steve believes strongly that
marital disputes can be handled in a manner that will be the least damaging
to the family, and include negotiations which will arrive at a settlement
with emotions on both sides held in check. Bottom line: Saving money
and time.
Steve’s years
of experience as a family law attorney include a great interest in the
value of preserving family relationships. He helped design and create
the County Clerk’s Support and Visitation Enforcement Program,
for which he received the Florida Bar President’s Pro Bono Service
Award. He participates in numerous other programs and organizations
such as the Child Protection Team and the Children’s Alliance,
and for a number of years was involved in the Guardian Ad Litem
Program.
